About Dr. Flicker
Michael Flicker, MD, is an experienced gastroenterologist at Advanced GI LLC, serving patients in the Lake View/Lincoln Park area of Chicago, Illinois as well as patients who hail from various other neighborhoods throughout the Chicagoland area. He proudly provides comprehensive gastroenterology care using advanced procedures and a holistic approach.
Dr. Flicker attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he completed his undergraduate degree and graduated magna cum laude. In 2004, he went on to graduate from the University of Chicago, receiving his medical degree from the Pritzker School of Medicine. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Chicago Hospital before continuing his education with a gastroenterology fellowship at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Returning to his roots, Dr. Flicker returned to Chicago for an advanced interventional endoscopy fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. After serving as a faculty member of Northwestern from 2011-2012, he moved on to work in private practice.
Dr. Flicker is currently a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Flicker is currently a faculty member at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine.
